HOW TO COMMISSION A PIECE OF JEWELLERY
First we will chat about your requirements, your likes and dislikes. This can be done by phone, email, or ideally (if you're in the area) come to my workshop and have an informal chat over a coffee.
Together we can decide on a design and I'll work out a quote. I will discuss a completion date with you, to suit us both. And finally, I can arrange delivery, or collection by you.
It's a very simple process, and at the end you'll have a special piece of jewellery to treasure forever.
Commissioning is based on the style of my work, so please bear that in mind when thinking of a design.
This piece was commissioned as a special 50th birthday present from a group of SH's friends. SH came to my workshop, with her budget to work with; looked at my range of work and together we came up with a plan, based on what she liked within my pieces and what she likes to wear.
This commission was based on a beach called Treyarnon with a little island out to sea, in Cornwall. It was a very personal place for the customer, who wanted some earrings created from his own photographs. They'd had their dogs ashes sprinkled there, so I made dog tag style earrings to remind them of the beach.
This piece was commissioned as a Christening gift from a Godmother to her friend. Each etched link represents a member of the family - mum, dad, and four children.
